Wikipedia - Sunday RoastSunday Roast changes this Sunday serving between 12pm and 3pm.

Starters A wholesome Cream of Wild Mushroom soup with fresh baked bread just out of the oven or Atlantic prawns in our own Marie Rose sauce.

Main Course a variety of fresh local meat and vegetables including: North Wales Buffalo (on Halkyn Mountain) - Buffalo or Lamb, Paul Williams, Mold - Pork or Beef and Ness' own vegetarian nut roast.  Lots of fresh vegetables from Four Seasons, Holywell roast potatoes and roast parsnips (when in season), Yorkshire puds with everything and real home made gravy.

I don't know about you but my mouth is watering already!

We generally have a choice of at least three Puddings which are traditional and mostly home made.  For example, our own traditional bramley apple crumble with custard, Ness's baked cheesecake with cream or an old fashioned wholemeal bread & butter pudding with cream or our own sherry trifle.  We also usually have lemon sorbet and a selection of delicious ice creams.

  • Main course at £7.45 and a smaller helping at £6.45
  • Starter & Main course at £8.75 and a smaller helping at £7.75
  • Puddings from £1.75

New bottled beers arrive... PDF Print E-mail

We thought you might be interested in our new range of specialist bottled and bottle-conditioned beers.  We plan on changing them frequently as we do with our cask range (the 300th is due soon and we may well have our own brew!).

The beers will all be in the strong (over 5%abv) and designed to sit over our existing cask range which rarely breaks that strength.  We've added a new Bottled Beers section here so you can see what we have in and we will build an on-line library of beers as we have fo cask beers and ciders.

The beers will be classed in four loose categories which we may expand as the need arises:
