Charming country cottages for rent

Come and stay in the peaceful countryside on Halkyn Mountain in Flintshire. A haven for ramblers, cyclists, bird watching and fishing, as well as being a good location for many attractions that North Wales has to offer.
Situated in a beautiful part of rural Wales near the edge of the enchanting Clwydian Hill range, which includes the ancient hill fort of Moel Fammau and with miles of open space suitable for scenic walks, cycling – and off road cycle trails, horse riding and within a few miles of a number of golf ranges.

Woodview is a three bedroomed cottage with views over the Dee Estruary, it is a delightful character, end terraced stone cottage set in the hamlet of The Windmill, near Halkyn offering spacious accommodation for up to six persons.
With a quaint gothic style conservatory and cosy snug with beamed ceiling, log burner, flat screen t.v & dvd player., stylish well equipped galley kitchen and a spacious dining/sitting room with patio doors leading to a small secluded patio area. A bathroom with shower over bath is conveniently situated downstairs as is a twin bedroom,. Upstairs are two further bedrooms, both with double beds although one bedroom does have restricted access.

Further afield is the Roman walled city of Chester, famous for its historical architecture, galleries, wonderful shops pubs and restaurants, bustling nightlife, and famous zoo.

The North Wales coast and the Snowdonia Mountain Range has some quaint locations to visit. These include the towns of Conwy with its castle and walled town, Llandudno with its North Wales Theatre, and the Great Orme with stunning views, the slate mines of Ffestiniog, Betws y Coed with its Swallow Falls and the picturesque Isle of Angelsey.

Halkyn mountain itself is an area of special scientific interest and is a peaceful location to explore, yet near enough to the main A55 route to take you further into the beautiful North Wales attractions.
Offa’s Dyke pathway,and the renowned Loggerheads Country Park are also close by.
St. Winifride’s Well at Holywell is also a local popular tourist attraction.
The busy market town of Mold is nearby with picturesque buildings and a good variety of shops, pubs and restaurants with a nationally renowned theatre.

Another attractive and quaint stone cottage situated on the edge of a small holding, with extensive breathtaking views of the Clwydian range. It also has a cosy snug with beamed ceiling, log burner, t.v. & DVD and a well equipped kitchen/dining room, a newly fitted bathroom with shower over bath. This property sleeps up to 3 persons, has one double bedroom and a single and offers all the amenities that Woodview has to offer.
