That's why anytime before 5th December 2008, CTC members can upgrade to family membership for only £12. Call 0844 736 8451 and quote 'family' to take up this offer.
Mark, Dave and Kevin_web2.jpg Following on from his Eurostar victory, Dave Holladay has won the People Award at the National Cycle-Rail Awards 2008. Dave is CTC’s Public Transport Adviser and he works tirelessly to improve access for cyclists on public transport. The judges described Dave as “one of the best known figures campaigning for cycle rail integration”. Well done Dave!

commuter2.JPG CTC has strongly welcomed the findings of the Commons Transport Select Committee's inquiry on road safety. They have backed many of the proposals put to them by CTC, including more 20 mph speed limits, a greater role for cycle training, and road safety targets which support the wider health and other benefits of encouraging more (as well as safer) cycling.
20mph.jpg CTC is calling for 20mph to be the normal for built-up areas, with signs for 30mph (or higher) speed limits being confined to the wider and busier roads.  This proposal would encourage more people to walk, cycle and use public transport more often, with benefits for our own health and that of our towns, cities and the environment too.  Click here for more ideas to make traffic regulation more cycle-friendly.
