Welcome to Folking.com
ALL OUR LATEST NEWS...
can now be found on our Message Forum/ Bulletin Board HERE
was established in 1999 and is now well positioned as one of the UK's foremost online folk music resources designed to support the folk community.
Folking.com is run by a small, dedicated team with a passion for folk music, and a commitment to furthering the interests of the folk scene, with a growing team of writers, reviewing the latest releases from the world of folk, each with their own inimitable style.
Folking.com hosts a comprehensive, interactive database that allows all artists, clubs, festivals and others of interest to the folk community to post their details and link to their own website. An events diary similarly provides a facility for artists to post details of their upcoming gigs and festival appearances, alongside a bulletin board that provides the latest news and views from the folk scene.
Extending the folking.com community, we also feature an archive of photos on Flickr,
a considerable collection of exclusive videos on YouTube and have our very own MySpace page.
